Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

• By accessing, registering for, or using the AutoSignals platform, website, API, or mobile applications (together, the "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

• You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

2. Nature of the Service — Software Only

• We provide software tools

  AutoSignals is a subscription software product. It aggregates and analyses cryptocurrency trading signals published in public and semi-public Telegram channels, provides performance analytics and risk metrics on those third-party publishers, offers portfolio tracking, and provides optional, user-configured trade automation tools that can transmit orders to a cryptocurrency exchange account that you own and control.

• What we are not

  AutoSignals is not, and does not hold itself out as, any of the following:

  • a broker, dealer, exchange, or trading venue;
  • an investment adviser, financial adviser, or provider of financial advice;
  • a portfolio manager, asset manager, or discretionary investment manager;
  • a custodian, money transmitter, payment institution, or crypto-asset service provider holding client assets;
  • a fund, pooled investment vehicle, or managed account programme;
  • an authorised or licensed financial services provider in any jurisdiction.
• No advice, no recommendations, no solicitation

  Nothing on or produced by the Service — including signals, analytics, scores, rankings, leaderboards, backtests, AI-generated output, notifications, or educational content — constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset, or a solicitation or offer to engage in any transaction. All content is provided for informational purposes only. No content is personalised to your circumstances, objectives, financial situation, or risk tolerance, and we do not assess suitability or appropriateness for you. You are solely responsible for every decision you make.

• No fiduciary or advisory relationship

  Your use of the Service does not create any fiduciary, advisory, agency, partnership, or trust relationship between you and AutoSignals. We owe you the contractual obligations set out in these Terms and nothing further.

3. Eligibility and Restricted Jurisdictions

• The Service is not offered to, and may not be used by, any person who is a resident, citizen, or located in a jurisdiction where use of the Service would be contrary to local law or would require AutoSignals to hold a licence, registration, or authorisation it does not hold ("Restricted Jurisdictions"). The current list of Restricted Jurisdictions is maintained on the Service and may be updated at any time.

  You additionally may not use the Service if you are subject to economic sanctions, are located in a comprehensively sanctioned territory, or appear on any applicable sanctions or restricted-party list.

• Your warranty

  You represent and warrant, on registration and on each subsequent use, that you are not a resident, citizen, or located in a Restricted Jurisdiction, and that your use of the Service is lawful where you are. You agree not to use a VPN, proxy, or any other means to conceal your location or circumvent these restrictions. Breach of this clause entitles us to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without refund.

• Your responsibility for local law

  You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Service, and any trading activity you conduct, is lawful in your jurisdiction, and for all tax consequences arising from your trading. We do not advise on either.

4. Exchange Connections and API Keys

• No custody — ever

  AutoSignals never holds, receives, controls, or takes custody of your cryptocurrency or fiat funds. Your assets remain at all times in an account that you opened, in your own name, with a third-party exchange, governed by your agreement with that exchange. We never take possession of your assets and have no ability to move them off your exchange account.

• Trade-only permissions are mandatory

  When you connect an exchange account you supply API credentials scoped to reading account data and placing trades only. Withdrawal and transfer permissions must never be enabled. Where the exchange exposes an interface allowing us to verify key permissions, we check on connection and reject any API key with withdrawal or transfer rights enabled. Where an exchange does not expose such an interface, you are responsible for ensuring the key is correctly scoped, and you warrant that it is.

• Credential handling

  API credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and transmitted over encrypted channels. You remain responsible for the security of your exchange account, including its own credentials and two-factor authentication, for setting appropriate IP allow-lists where your exchange supports them, and for revoking API keys at the exchange if you stop using the Service or suspect compromise. Revoking your key at the exchange is the definitive way to end our access.

• Third-party exchanges

  Exchanges are independent third parties. We do not control their availability, latency, order matching, liquidation policies, fee schedules, API behaviour, or solvency. We are not responsible for any loss arising from exchange outages, API failures, rate limits, rejected or delayed orders, price feed errors, maintenance windows, insolvency, or account restrictions imposed by the exchange.

5. Automation, Bots, and the AI Trading Agent

• AutoSignals is software. We are not a broker, adviser, or portfolio manager, we never hold your funds, and nothing here is a recommendation to trade. Everything here runs only after you configure and enable it, on an exchange account you own and control. You choose the strategy, sizing, leverage, and risk limits. You are solely responsible for every resulting trade and every resulting loss.

• You direct, the software executes

  All automation features — including signal auto-execution, copy/provider settings, DCA bots, Grid bots, the arbitrage scanner, and the AI trading agent — operate only after you have explicitly configured and enabled them. You select the strategy, the markets, the position sizing, the leverage, the stop-loss policy, and the risk limits. You choose whether the feature runs in simulation ("paper") mode or against real funds. The software then executes those standing instructions mechanically. We exercise no discretion over your account and make no judgement about whether any configuration is suitable for you.

• The AI trading agent

  The AI trading agent is an automated software process that evaluates market data using large language models and generates orders within the hard limits you configure (maximum trade size, maximum leverage, maximum trades per day, maximum concurrent positions). It is a tool you operate, not a manager acting on your behalf. Its output is machine-generated, probabilistic, and may be wrong, internally inconsistent, or based on stale, incomplete, or misinterpreted data. It has no duty of care to you, no obligation to act in your interests, and no capacity to understand your financial circumstances. Enabling live mode requires separate, explicit, recorded acceptance of a risk disclosure. You may disable the agent or revert it to paper mode at any time.

• Limits are not protection

  Risk parameters, stop-losses, and hard limits reduce but do not eliminate risk. Stop-loss execution is not guaranteed. In fast, illiquid, or gapping markets, or during exchange outages, an order may fill far from its trigger price or not at all. Leveraged positions may be liquidated in full. Losses may exceed those implied by your configured limits.

• Automation runs unattended

  Once enabled, automated features act on their schedule without further prompting from you, including while you are asleep, offline, or otherwise unaware of market conditions. This is the intended behaviour of the tool and you accept it as a condition of using it. You remain responsible for monitoring your positions and for the consequences of leaving automation enabled.

• Software may fail

  The Service is software and may contain defects. Bugs, outages, deployment errors, database faults, network failures, third-party dependency failures, incorrect calculations, mis-sized orders, duplicated orders, or failures to place or cancel orders are all possible. Subject only to clause 9, you accept this risk when you enable automation against real funds.

6. Third-Party Signals, Providers, and Content

• Signals ingested by the Service originate from independent third-party publishers. We do not author, verify, endorse, vet, or take responsibility for their content, accuracy, honesty, or legality, and we have no relationship with those publishers beyond observing what they publish. We do not recommend any provider.

• Analytics, win rates, rankings, and leaderboards are computed observations of past published messages. They are descriptive statistics, not recommendations, endorsements, or predictions. Ranking position reflects historical measurement only and must not be read as an assessment of quality, reliability, or future performance.

• Signal parsing is automated and may misinterpret ambiguous, edited, or malformed messages. Parsed entries, targets, and stops may not reflect what the publisher intended.

7. Risk Disclosure

• Cryptocurrency trading carries a high risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose entirely.

  • Crypto-asset prices are highly volatile and can move sharply in either direction without warning.
  • Leveraged and derivative trading dramatically amplifies both gains and losses, and can result in the total loss of your position or margin in a very short time.
  • Past performance is not indicative of future results. Historical statistics, backtests, paper-trading results, and provider track records do not predict future outcomes. Simulated results have inherent limitations and do not reflect real slippage, latency, fees, or liquidity.
  • We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee of profit, income, or any particular trading outcome. Any figure shown anywhere on the Service is illustrative or historical, never a forecast.
  • Markets may become illiquid or gap; orders may not fill at expected prices.

8. Subscriptions and Billing

• Plans and trial

  AutoSignals offers a Freemium tier (free), Pro, and VIP. Current pricing is shown on the pricing page and may change on notice. New accounts receive a free Pro trial; at the end of the trial the account reverts to Freemium unless you subscribe. No charge is made without your explicit action.

• Auto-renewal and cancellation

  Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You may cancel at any time in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you retain access until then.

• Payment processors

  Card payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NOWPayments. AutoSignals does not store card or payment credentials. By subscribing you also agree to the applicable processor's own terms and privacy policy. Cryptocurrency payments are settled on-chain and are irreversible once confirmed; underpayments, overpayments, wrong-network transfers, and transfers to an expired payment address may be unrecoverable.

• Fees are for software access only

  Subscription fees purchase access to software features for a period. They are not performance fees, management fees, commissions, or any charge contingent on your trading results. We do not receive, and are not entitled to, any share of your trading profits. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

• AI credits

  Certain AI features consume prepaid credits. Credits are a prepaid software entitlement, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for money. Consumed credits are non-refundable, including where the AI output proves inaccurate or unprofitable.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• "As is" basis

  The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, and freedom from error. We do not warrant that the Service will be available at any particular time, that data will be accurate or timely, or that any order will be placed, filled, modified, or cancelled successfully.

• Trading losses

  To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoSignals is not liable for any trading loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, liquidation, margin call, adverse fill, missed trade, or diminution in the value of your assets, however arising, whether from your own decisions, third-party signals, automated features, AI output, exchange behaviour, market conditions, or defects in the Service.

• Cap on liability

  To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service, in contract, delict/tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total subscription fees you actually paid to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or business.

• What we do not exclude

  Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where your local law grants you non-excludable consumer rights, those rights are unaffected and prevail over any inconsistent provision here.

• Indemnity

  You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoSignals, its owners, officers, and contractors against any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, your trading activity, your breach of any exchange's terms, or your breach of any law applicable to you — including any misrepresentation of your jurisdiction under clause 3.

10. Acceptable Use

• You agree not to: (a) scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or reproduce the platform's software, data, or analytics; (b) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including market manipulation, wash trading, money laundering, or sanctions evasion; (c) share, sell, or transfer account credentials, or operate the Service on behalf of an undisclosed third party; (d) use the Service to manage funds belonging to other people, or to provide trading, advisory, or management services to third parties; (e) attempt to circumvent subscription limits, rate limits, or jurisdiction restrictions; (f) interfere with, overload, or probe the Service or its infrastructure; or (g) submit false, misleading, infringing, or harmful content.

11. Intellectual Property

• All software, content, analytics, logos, and design elements on AutoSignals are owned by or licensed to AutoSignals and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal use, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

12. Data Protection and Security

• We apply industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted transport, AES-256 encryption at rest for sensitive credentials, access controls, and routine security hardening. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a determined attack will never succeed.
• We do not sell personal data and do not use user data for third-party advertising or resale. Our full data practices are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Suspension and Termination

• You may cancel your subscription or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that we reasonably believe are located in a Restricted Jurisdiction, or where continued service would expose us to legal or regulatory risk.
• Termination stops the software; it does not close your positions. Automation ceases and we no longer transmit orders. Any open positions remain live in your exchange account and are your responsibility to manage directly with your exchange. Revoke your API keys at the exchange on termination.
• We may discontinue the Service, or any feature of it, on reasonable notice. Account data is retained for 90 days after termination before deletion, unless you request earlier deletion or we are required to retain it.

14. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict of law principles, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts. This choice does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.
• Before commencing formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through the Service's support channels.

16. General

• If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it shall be severed and the remainder shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AutoSignals regarding the Service. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to a successor entity on notice.
• Clauses 2, 3, 7, 9, and 15 survive termination.
